FAQs

  • Coaching is a personal development process aimed at encouraging your relational, spiritual, and leadership formation, based on your goals.

Therapy is a healing process aimed at alleviating emotional, relational, and psychological distress following a mental health diagnosis.

Although I retain my license as a marriage and family therapist, the focus of my coaching practice is creating space for insights and skill development for growth-minded individuals who want to be a part of meaningful change in their relational and systemic contexts.

  • After our first coaching session, if we’re a good fit, most clients schedule sessions every other week until they gain enough understanding and forward momentum to move to meeting once a month.

How long you’d like coaching support is up to you: I’ve had clients work with me for 3-6 months to improve some aspect of their life or leadership before jumping back into their routine—as well as clients who’ve scheduled monthly sessions for years because they enjoy the space for continued growth and built-in accountability toward their goals.

I am warm, friendly, empathetic, passionate, and can be a nerd about what I’m teaching at times. While I remain professional and conscientious of their time, I love relating deeply and laughing with clients as we work toward progress in their contexts.

  • To live into my calling faithfully, I’ve pursued the following degrees and credentials to help me grow as a systemic educator and practitioner:

    -BA Psychology

    -Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

I’ve also received hundreds of hours of research-based education around healthy relationships and sexuality, religious trauma, and grief and loss.

  • Every client’s processing time and financial landscape is different, so I offer a couple of options: $150 for 45-min. sessions; $200 for a 60-min. sessions.

You are welcome to pay per session. I use SimplePractice to store payment methods; the card on file will be charged overnight after each session.

I don’t require the purchase of prepaid coaching packages, but I do offer a 10% discount if you’d like to save by pre-paying for 10 sessions upfront (as long as we’ve talked about it, enjoy working together, and you plan to continue long-term).

I do not accept insurance, HSA/FSAs, or offer refunds. If someone is helping you cover costs, they will be asked to keep a payment method on file. You will be asked to sign a release of information so that I can send them receipt of paid invoices on your behalf.
